ABOUT THE CHURCH OF THE IMMACULATE HEART OF MARY, ANTIPOLO
I was really impressed with this church. I didn't know that this is the place where God wanted us to go. We didn't know that what we clicked in our Waze up is different from Antipolo's church which is the most common for car blessings. But no regrets because of our experience...
The structure of the Immaculate Heart of Mary Church Antipolo is really relaxing and could really give you that WOW Factor when it's your first time. The structure itself is so white and very tropical which is my favorite style in Architecture. And what I love the most is the fact that you are surrounded with trees and the birds are just playing in the floor and singing with you during the mass.

ABOUT TOUCH OF GLORY PRAYER MOUNTAIN, ANTIPOLO
![]() |
Touch of Glory Prayer Mountain, Antipolo, is made for school retreats, wedding ceremonies and any other solemn events but they are also open for walk ins. We are lucky because there's no event happening on that day so we own the place!
The entrance fee is 90php per head and there's a corkage of 50php per head if you are going to bring your own food. The first thing we did is we checked the whole place. We found a lot of prayer cells where you can pray solemnly. There are also prayer Huts in the forest which are scattered descending to the mountain. There's a library, events hall with a complete set of music instruments. There's also a conference room for meetings, and there are dorms and rooms if you opt for an overnight stay. After checking the place, we ate lunch at the canteen. After eating, we grabbed our picnic basket and stuff and then we trekked (maybe around 5mins trek only) going to the top of the mountain. It is literally a "Prayer Mountain" that's why it's called like that. Though on their signage, the garden part is what they've called "The Prayer Garden". During our arrival we witnessed a female having a meditation in one of the big huts. I think yoga classes or yoga alone is perfect there. There's also a man who are seated on the cliff of the mountain and obviously he's having a deep reflection. There are also a group of adult woman who are having a happy conversation in the Gazebo. And lastly, there's a guard.
We then set up our picnic stuff, and set upped our hammock. And the fun begins 🙂
Just after a few hours, all the people left and it's only the two of us in the Garden ❤️ Like Dang, where can you find a place where you can solo, during Summer?
At 5:00PM we packed up our stuff and we proceed to the prayer cells to have meditation and prayer. After that, we sat in one of the prayer benches together and reflected about our prayers and meditation experience.
ABOUT CLOUD 9 ANTIPOLO
Here's a thrill for your day trip to Antipolo. The Cloud 9 Hanging Garden is perfect for the thrill seekers. I've experienced crossing Hanging Bridge for several times and I even made it to the longest and highest hanging bridge in Kota Kinabalu Malaysia and even the Flight of the Gibbon Adventure in Cambodia but Antipolo's very own hanging Garden is Unique that I've never experienced a hanging bridge like that which is ascended around 40degrees going to the Cloud 9 360 view deck. The entrance fee is 50php but free for those who are checked in in their hotel. There's also a restaurant in Cloud 9 but we find it low class. Though the view is really stunning! Going down the view deck, you'll pass by a small Art and Gallery Museum.
Cloud 9 Antipolo also has a Kubo Bar which have a spectacular view as well but there's really really like major a lot of people that time so we opt to just go to Padis Point Antipolo which also have a good view and then we grabbed a dinne and some Miami Cocktail before we get home.

All in all, it was a great and inexpensive day trip. We are not that religious to the point that we rarely attend Sunday's Mass. But we always make sure that we have and experience some solemn encounters and reflections from time to time. We don't believe in Religion because we believe that the God of each religions are just one God that we are all referring to. What's important is that we have FAITH and God is the center of our relationship.
