Last Thursday, we had a quick and biglaang getaway at Pilillia Rizal. We met someone at Tanay Rizal so we decided to drop by and have lunch at Pilillia Wind Farm. There's nothing much to do here but if you opt for a relaxing good view and eat a nice food, then this place is for you! You don't have to go to Ilocos for a windmill photo opportunity. All you need is just 1 and 1/2 hours drive from Manila!
There's a 5-minute trekking for a good view of Laguna de Bay. This is probably the first trekking of my 4 year old nephew Ethan. Yay! He did it!
There are souvenir stalls too! :) Oh by the way, entrance fee at Pilillia wind farm is FREE! yup. FREE!
There are different overlooking canteens along the way! We chose this small canteen here made of bamboos! It was really relaxing and refreshing!
This Beef Nilaga is only 140php and it really tastes so good! It's also good for 2 to 3 persons.
I recommend going here rather than going in Antipolo if you just want an overlooking view for lunch or dinner :)
You can also opt to go to Batlag falls or Daranak Falls if you want a full day trip in Rizal :)
